Before founding Lumina Studio Co., Diana built her career in dentistry as an office manager, overseeing billing, operations, and the day-to-day flow of a busy practice, while also gaining experience in surgical dentistry. That environment required precision, composure, and an ability to support people in high-pressure moments — skills that continue to shape how she works today.
As a first-generation Mexican American, hard work, responsibility, and showing up fully were values instilled in Diana from an early age. Those principles carried into the launch of Dia Photography, where she spent years photographing weddings, families, and milestone moments — refining her ability to guide people with confidence, empathy, and care.
Today, those worlds come together at Lumina Studio Co. Our team brings a people-first, highly organized approach to corporate events, conferences, retreats, and live portrait experiences. We come prepared, stay adaptable, and focus just as much on how people feel during the experience as on the final images — delivering work that’s polished, intentional, and genuinely human.

Alejandra is a photographer and editor supporting Lumina Studio Co.’s work across events, portraits, and live studio experiences. In addition to photographing alongside the team, she oversees technical execution — including image processing, color consistency, on-site editing, and printing.
Her combined skill set allows Lumina to move efficiently through fast-paced environments while maintaining a consistent, high-quality visual standard. Alejandra’s attention to detail and calm presence ensure every image is captured, refined, and delivered seamlessly.

She manages the flow of the experience while anticipating needs and solving small issues before they become problems — all while keeping the environment relaxed and welcoming. A creative, resourceful problem-solver, Marissa has an incredible ability to figure things out with little direction and keep everything moving smoothly. Diana leads Lumina Studio Co. with a refined eye and a people-first approach. She directs events, portraits, and live studio experiences with confidence and ease — guiding clients and guests through moments that feel natural, polished, and intentional.
From large-scale corporate events to leadership portraits and live photo activations, Diana focuses on creating imagery that reflects both the energy of the event and the people at its center.

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m probably out on a trail with my dog, Ocean. He keeps me playful, and always ready for an adventure—qualities I bring into every project I take on. He is also the chief engineer of laughter and cheer.
